We had our first BBQ at our new place in May 2016. Actually, it was our first hosted BBQ ever. We weren't sure what types of drinks everyone would like so we got a wide variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. We ended up with lots of extra hard liquor, which we really don't drink. I've never been one to cook with alcohol either, since we never had it on hand. Well, now we've got a ton. As I took inventory of the frozen proteins we had left, I saw six thick-cut, bone-in pork chops. I was never really a bone-in type of gal until a few years ago. I always thought the bones just got in the way. Now, I prefer bone-in pork chops. For some reason, it suddenly clicked to use the Whiskey as a marinade for these beautiful, thick-cut, bone-in pork chops after years of mediocre seasonings. Either Applebee's or T.G.I.
